Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your Loom account.
  2. Locate the Spaces section on the left sidebar of the dashboard.
  3. Access the default All Company Space, which is visible to all members of the organization.
  4. Within a space, create folders to categorize videos by topic, meeting, or team needs.
  5. For recurring events (e.g., monthly all-hands), upload recordings into designated folders for easy access.
  6. If on an enterprise plan, link your Zoom account to Loom to automatically import recordings.
  7. To create a new space, click the Create Space button, name the space, and set permissions (Open or Closed).
  8. Use Open Spaces for org-wide visibility and Closed Spaces for private or project-based groups.
  9. Create department-specific spaces (e.g., Marketing, Finance) and populate them with categorized folders.
  10. Organize upcoming project materials in new folders within relevant spaces (e.g., Website Redesign Project).
